成为中国第一所获得IACBE国际商科认证的大学

2018年7月，广州城市理工学院顺利通过IACBE正式会员资格评审，成为中国第一所获得IACBE国际商科认证的大学。学校管理学院、经济学院、国际商学院共9个商科专业获得IACBE国际商科认证，获认证的专业详情请点击这里。2026年8月，学校所有IACBE认证专业全部顺利通过认证续期评审。

此外，学校多年来是IACBE亚洲区委员单位，与IACBE总部共同致力于促进亚洲区发展，积极与亚洲区各国的成员院校、我国省内外兄弟院校交流专业国际认证工作，提升IACBE的知名度及学校的国际影响力。

【关于IACBE国际商科认证】

国际商科教育认证委员会（International Accreditation Council for Business Education，IACBE）成立于1997年，总部位于美国堪萨斯州，是美国高等教育认证委员会（CHEA）认可的国际商科教育认证机构。IACBE以办学使命为导向、以学习成果为基础，为国际上办学优秀的院校提供商科专业认证，其评估框架注重人才培养的目标、过程和结果，鼓励院校提出自己的办学特色与优势，要求院校建立成果评估体系，运用评估工具衡量学生学习成果与商科教学单位的办学条件。申请IACBE国际商科认证分为教育会员、候选人资格与正式会员资格三个阶段。

【学校申请IACBE过程】

学校于2013年成为IACBE的教育会员，是IACBE在中国的第一所教育会员单位。2016年，学校向IACBE递交候选人资格申请，并完成候选人资格现场考察，并于当年度12月成功获得候选人资格，认证专业包括：国际经济与贸易、工商管理、会计学、市场营销。

2017年，学校IACBE认证工作进入正式会员资格申请阶段。递交正式会员资格申请并顺利完成正式会员资格现场考察后，学校第一批4个专业于2018年7月获得正式会员资格，成为中国第一所获得IACBE认证的大学。随后，2019年5月，管理学院的财务管理、人力资源管理、电子商务专业顺利获得认证。2019年8月，国际商学院的国际经济与贸易、会计学专业顺利获得认证。

广州城市理工学院在全国率先申请并成功获得IACBE认证，反映出学校在商科教学质量管理以及教育国际化方面取得显著成绩，显示出学校在国际认证处于国内领先地位，申请国际认证不仅符合国家与广东省鼓励高校开展专业认证的政策方向，也提升了我校商科教学质量，增强了学校办学竞争力和国际知名度，有利于实现我校创建“省内一流、国内知名”的应用型大学的发展目标。

2025年5月，我校正式启动认证续期申请工作。2026年4月14—16日，我校接受了IACBE认证续期评审专家组为期三天的线上考察。考察期间，专家组分别与学校领导、管理学院、经济学院、国际商学院、教务处、财务处、学生工作处、图书馆以及学生代表、教师代表、校外专家及实习就业企业代表等进行了12场会谈，学校领导、各学院及相关部处共作10个专题汇报，向专家组全面展示了学校办学、商科专业建设、人才培养特色、教学质量保障、教师教学科研与学生学习成果等情况。IACBE评审专家组对我校产教融合、人工智能赋能教育以及商科教育模式创新等方面的实践成果给予了高度评价。
