Guangzhou City University of Technology (GCUT) received the notification on the result of the second batch of evaluation of undergraduate teaching qualifications (2025) issued by the General Office of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, which signifies that GCUT passed the evaluation. It is a recognition of GCUT’s education and talent development, boosting its future growth, while it cannot leave without the guidance and support of its higher Party organizations and superior administrative departments as well as the efforts of GCUT’s staff and students.

GCUT attached great significance to the evaluation of undergraduate teaching qualifications. It is included in GCUT’s 14th Five-Year Plan and listed as its primary task, concentrating on bring out the full potential of higher education and insisting on regularizing its school running. Consistent with the principle of the undergraduate teaching evaluation featuring “promoting development, reform and management through evaluation, while combining evaluation with development with the emphasis on development”, GCUT has strengthened its undergraduate teaching, deepened the integration between industry and education, enhanced its construction of faculty teams.
